4 Wheel Drive

Paul Kemp's Losi XX4, Hannu Worsley's  Schumacher Cat2000EC and Matthew Moore's Predator X5 from the A-final at the BRCA F2 championships 1997.

James Thomas's Yokomo YZ10

There are 3 common 4WD racing cars in this country at the moment. The Losi is a newcomer and is proving very successful, (if slightly fragile in some respects at club level), the Cat is the most popular club car and is the result of years of evolution whilst Tenth Technology's Predator is a revolutionary design that has been around for a few years now. The car that should be seen more, because it is the car of the World Champion, is the Yokomo but it has not been very popular with club drivers. It seems to be very difficult to set up properly.  There is a new version coming on the market at the moment. More details soon.

RC10B3 of Masami Hirosaka (4WD World Champion 1997)

2WD has been very popular in the states for many years and is making a comeback in this country. There are again 3 main cars seen in competitions, the Associated RC10 B2 (now B3) , the Losi XXCR (driven by 2WD World Champion Brian Kinwald) and the Schumacher Fireblade.
The first two are by far the most popular and successful. The RC10 has been World Champion for many years until in 1997 Brian Kinwald won the first World Championship for Losi.
