Welcome to the home page of TEESSIDE RADIO CAR CLUB.

The web site is undergoing some radical development. After many years I am in less of a position to keep the site current. Alan Harland is taking on the task and the new site is on stream at www.teesside-rcc.org.uk. This site will remain active until further notice as an archive resource.

6th January 2008

Our first race meeting at our new venue is scheduled for 1st March 2008. I will post more details as they get sorted including a map!

We will be running every week on Saturdays from 4.00pm to 11.00pm (including setting up time) and practise on Tuesdays from 6.00pm to 9.00pm. Costs will be the same as far as we can tell.

One of the last events we will be holding in the Warehouse is the Mike Leonard Endurance Race on Sunday 13th January. As usual we are open for both on-road and off-road entries.

Teams are welcome with up to 7 members. Don't worry if you cannot find a team yourself, come along and we will find one for you. Remember, we are raising money for the Muscular Dystrophy Research Fund, so please try and come along. If you haven't done one of these types of event before, we can promise you a memorable days racing.

On road

Off Road

Our indoor track in a large Warehouse has 2 tracks, one Primafelt carpet for on-road and one multisurface for off road. The on-road track has benefited from new track markings and the off road track is continually being added to in features and surfaces.

	While all types of electric on-road are welcome we have had a try at a new class to encourage cheap but enjoyable racing. 3 heats worth of drivers have bought themselves Tamiya TT01 kits and are racing to the ideals we used to have in the Trutam class. More details here..



	Off road is gaining in popularity again, many weeks outnumbering the on road.

It only takes 2 people to race, so come along.

Again it is time to look at renewing your TRCC membership. The cost is the same and includes membership of the BRCA with all that that provides. You MUST have public liability insurance to race at any TRCC event, race meeting or practise. Joining TRCC gives you that insurance via the BRCA.

Avoid being refused entry by joining TRCC or the BRCA

If you are a member of the BRCA either through another club or individually, you are welcome to race with us. Bring your BRCA card with you when you book in.

To join TRCC please print-out of membership application. and send your remittance payable to 'TRCC' to the address shown.

The site is now able to handle self posts. Follow instructions and things should be OK. If not then please e-mail me.

On the Web we will try and keep all our members and friends from all over the world up to date with developments in the club and radio controlled car racing. If you are new to the sport, look in beginners for more information.
